Possible Causes
Door not fully closed, Faulty door switch, Child lock enabled, Defective Start button or touch sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the door panel.
- Check door closure: Close the door firmly until you hear the latch click. Ensure racks are not protruding and blocking closure.
- Child lock: Consult the Rosières manual to see if a key or lock symbol is lit. Disable the child lock by holding the specified buttons.
- Test Start button: Try pressing other buttons. If only Start is unresponsive, the UI board or membrane may be faulty.
- Door switch test: If the machine only responds when you press on the door, the door switch or latch needs adjustment or replacement.
