E11 appears; dishwasher may not start or may stop shortly after filling

Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the door assembly.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes firmly and evenly. If you must push hard or lift the door to latch, the latch may be misaligned.
• Inspect latch hook: Look at the metal or plastic hook on the tub frame. If bent or broken, it must be replaced.
• Access door lock: Remove the inner door panel screws to expose the door lock assembly. Check that the actuator and microswitch operate smoothly.
• Check wiring: Verify that the connector to the door lock is secure and that no wires are broken at the hinge area.
• Replace faulty lock: If the switch does not click reliably or shows no continuity when closed, replace the door lock assembly with the correct Rosières part.
