Possible Causes
Defective drying fan motor, Blocked air duct or condenser channel, Faulty fan triac on control board, Wiring fault to fan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and allow it to cool before accessing the top or side panels.
- Confirm symptom: At the end of a hot cycle, dishes remain very wet and you do not hear the usual fan noise on models equipped with a drying fan.
- Access fan unit: On many Rosières dishwashers, the fan is located in the top of the door or on the side of the tub. Remove the appropriate panel to reach it.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect the air duct and condenser channels for lint, plastic film, or scale buildup that could block airflow.
- Test fan rotation: Spin the fan blades gently by hand; they should move freely without grinding.
- Electrical check: Ensure the fan connector is secure. If the fan does not run when powered during a test (for qualified persons), replace the fan assembly.
- If fan is OK: The control board's fan driver circuit may be faulty and the PCB may need replacement.
