Possible Causes
Persistent water in base tray, Defective or stuck float switch, Ongoing leak from sump seal, pump, or hoses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap immediately. Do not continue to run the dishwasher.
- Inspect base tray: Remove the toe-kick panel and check the base tray for standing water. Mop up any water with towels or a sponge.
- Check float switch: Locate the float switch in the base tray and ensure it moves freely. Clean away any debris or grease that may hold it in the "up" position.
- Identify leak source: With the machine pulled out, run a short fill-only test while observing underneath (use a torch). Look for drips from the sump gasket, circulation pump, drain pump, or hoses.
- Repair leak: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, or renew the sump seal as required. Do not ignore even small drips.
- Reset error: Once the base is completely dry and the leak is fixed, reconnect power and test a full cycle.
