Possible Causes
Blocked sump causing false water level, Faulty water presence sensor, Wiring issue to sensor, Control board misinterpretation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working inside the tub or base.
- Clean sump and filters: Remove all filters and thoroughly clean the sump area. Ensure no food debris is blocking the sensor opening.
- Locate sensor: On some Rosières models, a water presence or optical sensor is fitted in the sump wall. Clean its surface gently.
- Check wiring: From the underside, verify that the sensor connector is secure and wires are intact.
- Test cycle: Reassemble and run a rinse program to see if E17 reoccurs.
- Replace sensor if needed: If the error persists and drainage is physically normal, replace the water presence sensor.
