Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Loose NTC connector at heater or sump, Damaged wiring harness, Faulty control board input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power and allow the appliance to cool before touching internal parts.
- Locate NTC sensor: On many Rosières models, the NTC is clipped into the sump or integrated with the heater assembly. Access from the base or side panel.
- Check connection: Ensure the NTC plug is fully seated and free of corrosion or moisture. Reseat the connector.
- Visual inspection: Look for cracks or damage to the NTC body or its wiring.
- Functional check (for qualified persons): Measure resistance of the NTC at room temperature; a reading far outside the specified range (often 10–50 kΩ) indicates failure.
- If faulty: Replace the NTC sensor with the correct Rosières spare. If a new sensor does not clear E7, the main PCB may be defective and should be evaluated by a technician.
