Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Blown thermal fuse on control board, Faulty power cord or terminal block, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Always turn off the breaker before opening electrical compartments.
- Check household power: Verify the kitchen outlet or hardwired circuit has power and the breaker is not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect junction box: Remove the lower kick panel and open the Samsung junction box where the house wiring connects. Check for loose wire nuts or burned connections.
- Test power at dishwasher: With a multimeter (and power restored), confirm 120V (or local voltage) is present at the dishwasher terminals.
- Control board fuse: Some Samsung boards have an onboard fuse. If blown, the board may need replacement.
- Replace main PCB: If power is present but the unit is completely dead, the main control board is likely faulty and should be replaced.
