Dishwasher shows 3E and may not wash properly; circulation pump may not run.

Safety: Disconnect power and turn off water before accessing the bottom of the dishwasher.

• Listen for pump: During wash, if you hear only humming or nothing at all, the circulation pump may be jammed or failed.
• Access pump: Remove the lower panel and, if necessary, lay the dishwasher on its back to access the circulation pump assembly.
• Check for obstructions: Remove the pump and inspect the impeller for broken glass, bones, or debris. Clear any blockage.
• Test motor: Measure resistance across the motor terminals. An open or shorted reading indicates a bad pump that must be replaced.
