Possible Causes

Water in base pan triggering leak sensor, Loose hose clamp, Leaking sump or circulation pump seal, Over-sudsing causing overflow

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and turn off water supply before tipping or moving the dishwasher.

  • Check for visible leaks: Look around the front kick area and under the sink for water.
  • Dry the base pan: Carefully pull the dishwasher out. Tilt it slightly backward to drain water from the base pan onto towels. Allow the leak sensor area to dry completely.
  • Inspect hoses and clamps: With the lower panel removed, check the Samsung circulation pump hoses, drain hose, and inlet connections for drips or mineral trails.
  • Check door gasket: Inspect the door seal and bottom wiper for tears or debris that could cause leaks.
  • Run a test cycle: After drying and tightening clamps, run a short cycle while observing for leaks. If a component (e.g., sump assembly or pump) is leaking, replace that part.
