Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, Blocked pressure sensor hose, Faulty water level sensor, Control board failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately turn off power and close the water supply valve to prevent flooding.
- Stop water flow: Turn off the under-sink shutoff valve feeding the dishwasher.
- Drain excess water: Use the Cancel/Drain function if available, or manually bail out water.
- Inspect inlet valve: If water continues to enter with power off, the water inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
- Check pressure sensor and hose: Access the side or bottom of the unit to locate the water level sensor and its small hose. Ensure the hose is not kinked, blocked with debris, or disconnected.
- Sensor replacement: If the hose is clear but OE persists, the water level sensor (pressure switch) may be faulty and should be replaced with a compatible Samsung part.
