Possible Causes
Faulty flow meter in AquaStop hose, Blocked flow meter turbine, Loose connector to flow sensor, Control board counting error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing hoses.
- Inspect AquaStop hose: Check the Sharp AquaStop inlet hose for kinks or crushing that could prevent the flow meter turbine from spinning.
- Clean inlet filter: Remove and clean the mesh filter at the tap end to ensure proper water flow.
- Check wiring: Follow the cable from the AquaStop/flow meter to the control board and ensure the connector is secure.
- Test fill: Restore power and run a quick cycle. If E14 returns and filling is abnormal, the flow meter may be defective.
- Replace AquaStop/flow meter: Install a new Sharp AquaStop hose with integrated flow meter if required.
