How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply. Expect water to spill when moving the appliance.
- Remove water from base: Pull the dishwasher out and tilt it slightly backward to drain water from the base tray onto towels. This may temporarily clear E15.
- Inspect float switch: Remove the base cover and check the Sharp float switch for correct movement and cleanliness. Ensure it is not stuck in the up position.
- Locate leak source: Run a short fill cycle while observing the internal components (with panels removed) to identify drips from hoses, sump, or side tanks.
- Repair leak: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses or side tanks, or replace the sump seal as needed.
- Reassemble and test: After repairs, ensure the base is dry, reassemble, and run a full cycle to confirm no further leaks.
