Possible Causes
Low household water pressure, Partially blocked inlet filter, Faulty flow meter reading too low, Kinked inlet hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water before disconnecting hoses.
- Check water pressure: Ensure the supply tap is fully open and that other taps have good flow. If pressure is low, consult a plumber.
- Clean filters: Remove and clean the mesh filter at the tap end and any filter at the machine inlet.
- Inspect hose routing: Make sure the Sharp inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the cabinet.
- Test again: Restore power and run a quick cycle. If E17 persists, the flow meter or inlet valve may be faulty and require replacement.
