Possible Causes

Rinse aid empty or set too low, Eco program with low final temperature, Faulty drying fan (if equipped), Insufficient heating due to weak heater

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing any fan or heater components.

  • Step 1 – Rinse aid:
    • Check and refill the rinse aid dispenser.
    • Increase the rinse aid dosage setting if spots or wetness persist.
  • Step 2 – Program choice:
    • Use a hotter program with active drying rather than the shortest eco cycle.
  • Step 3 – Loading and door opening:
    • Load dishes so that water can run off (tilt cups and bowls).
    • Open the door slightly at the end of the cycle to release steam.
  • Step 4 – Drying fan (if present):
    • If your Siemens model has a side fan and you hear no fan noise, the fan may be defective.
    • Access and test/replace the fan as described for E07.

If dishes are also cold at the end of the cycle, investigate heater/heat pump issues (E09/E10-related).
