  • Remove filters and look for foreign objects (glass, bones, cutlery) in the sump.
• Step 3 – Pump inspection:
  • If grinding persists, access the base and inspect the circulation and drain pumps for debris.
  • Remove any obstructions and check impellers for damage.
• Step 4 – Mounting and leveling:
  • Ensure the dishwasher is level and securely fixed to the cabinet to reduce vibration noise.

Persistent loud humming or grinding from the pump may indicate bearing failure, requiring pump replacement.
