How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap immediately. Be prepared for water when moving the appliance.
- Step 1 – Pull out and inspect:
- Carefully pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet.
- Look for obvious drips or water trails from hoses or components.
- Step 2 – Remove base cover:
- Lay the dishwasher on its back (protect the floor).
- Remove the base cover to access the underside.
- Step 3 – Identify leak source:
- Reconnect power and water briefly and run a fill test while observing (only if safe to do so).
- Look for leaks at the sump seal, pump connections, hoses, and water matrix.
- Step 4 – Repair:
- Tighten or replace leaking hose clamps.
- Replace cracked hoses or plastic components (sump, matrix, pump housing).
