Possible Causes

Blocked pressure chamber, Clogged air trap or hose, Defective pressure sensor, Wiring issue between pressure sensor and control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water supply.

E05 indicates the control cannot correctly detect the water level.

  • Step 1 – Clean filters and sump:
    • Remove and clean the filter assembly.
    • Check the sump for grease and debris buildup.
  • Step 2 – Access pressure system:
    • Remove the left or right side panel (model dependent).
    • Locate the pressure chamber/air trap and the small hose leading to the pressure sensor.
  • Step 3 – Clear blockages:
    • Disconnect the small pressure hose from the sensor.
    • Blow gently through the hose to clear any blockage (do not use high pressure).
    • Rinse the pressure chamber with hot water to remove grease and detergent residue.
  • Step 4 – Sensor check:
    • Inspect the pressure sensor connector for corrosion.
    • If available, test the sensor with a multimeter according to service data.
  • Step 5 – Replacement:
    • If the hose and chamber are clean but E05 persists, replace the pressure sensor with the correct Siemens part.

Improper water level detection can lead to poor washing or overfilling, so do not ignore this error.
