Possible Causes
Partially blocked heat exchanger or water matrix, Weak circulation pump, Incorrect installation of filters causing air intake, Low water pressure from supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
E08 indicates that the water level or circulation pressure is too low for proper operation.
- Step 1 – Check water supply:
- Ensure the water tap is fully open.
- Clean the inlet hose filter screen.
- Step 2 – Clean filters and sump:
- Remove and thoroughly clean the filter assembly.
- Ensure the filters are reinstalled correctly and fully seated to prevent air being drawn into the pump.
- Step 3 – Heat exchanger / water matrix:
- Remove the left side panel.
- Inspect the heat exchanger / water matrix for heavy limescale or sludge.
- Flush with hot water and a descaling solution if necessary.
- Step 4 – Circulation pump check:
- Listen during operation: if the pump sounds unusually loud or weak, it may be failing.
- Access the pump from below and check for obstructions in the impeller area.
- Step 5 – Replacement:
- If cleaning does not resolve E08 and circulation remains weak, replace the circulation pump assembly.
Running the dishwasher with low water level can damage the pump; address E08 promptly.
