• Step 1 – Check filters and sump:
  • Clean the filter assembly and sump as for E22.
• Step 2 – Inspect drain hose:
  • Follow the drain hose from the dishwasher to the sink or standpipe.
  • Straighten any kinks or sharp bends.
  • Detach the hose from the sink trap and check for blockages; clean if necessary.
• Step 3 – Installation height:
  • Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height as per Siemens instructions (usually 40–100 cm above floor).
• Step 4 – Pump check:
  • If the hose and sink are clear but E24 persists, inspect the drain pump as for E23.

After clearing blockages, run a short program to verify that the dishwasher drains completely and E24 is resolved.
