  • Locate the softener valve and any associated sensors.
• Step 3 – Inspect and clean:
  • Check for salt bridges or blockages in the brine channel.
  • Gently tap the valve to free a stuck plunger.
• Step 4 – Replacement:
  • If the valve coil is defective or the sensor is faulty, replace the affected component with Siemens originals.
