How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before deep cleaning internal components.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove and thoroughly clean the filters and wipe out the sump area with a mild detergent solution.
- Clean door gasket: Wipe the door gasket and the area around the door with a diluted bleach or dishwasher-safe disinfectant to remove mold and slime.
- Flush drain hose: Disconnect the drain hose at the sink and flush with hot water to remove trapped food particles.
- Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty hot cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed in the upper rack to sanitize the interior.
