Summit
Poor Wash Performance / Low Spray Pressure
Dishwasher runs but dishes come out dirty; food particles remain and spray arms seem weak.

Possible Causes
Clogged spray arm jets, Dirty sump filters, Weak circulation pump, Incorrect detergent or hard water buildup
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing lower components.
- Clean filters: Remove the lower rack and take out the coarse and fine filters. Rinse thoroughly under warm water to remove grease and debris.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Use a toothpick or small brush to clear blocked jets. Rinse until water flows freely from all holes.
- Check circulation pump: Listen during operation for strong water spray. If spray is weak and filters are clean, the circulation pump may be failing and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
- Detergent and water hardness: Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent and ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled. If you have hard water, consider using a dishwasher cleaner to remove scale from the sump and spray arms.
