Possible Causes
Partially clogged water inlet valve, Restricted inlet hose or shutoff valve, Faulty water level sensor or pressure switch, Flow meter under-reading water volume
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply valve.
- Check water pressure: Confirm adequate household water pressure at the sink. Low pressure can cause underfilling.
- Inspect inlet hose: Ensure the inlet hose is not kinked or crushed. Disconnect and flush it to remove sediment.
- Clean inlet valve screen: Remove the water inlet valve and clean the internal filter screen thoroughly. If the valve is heavily scaled or the coil is weak, replace the valve.
- Verify water level: Start a cycle and, after filling, open the door (after disconnecting power) to check the water level. It should typically cover the sump filter area. If low, suspect the water level pressure switch or flow meter.
- Test sensors: Inspect and test the pressure switch and flow meter for proper operation. Replace any faulty components.
