Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dishwasher from mains power and close the water supply tap before working on hoses or internal parts.
- Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that household water pressure is normal. Try another tap to confirm pressure.
- Inspect inlet hose and AquaStop filter: Pull the dishwasher forward, close the water tap, and disconnect the inlet hose from the tap. Remove and clean the small mesh filter inside the hose end and at the machine-side connection. Rinse under running water and reinstall.
- Straighten hose routing: Make sure the inlet hose is not kinked, crushed, or pinched behind the cabinet.
- Test fill: Restore water and power, then run a quick program. If E1 returns, the inlet valve or flow meter may be faulty.
- Advanced check (for experienced users): Remove the left or bottom access panel (depending on model) to access the water inlet valve assembly. With power disconnected, inspect wiring connectors for burning or looseness. If the coil on the valve is open-circuit (test with a multimeter), replace the water inlet valve / AquaStop hose assembly.
If you are not comfortable working with live water and electrical connections, contact a qualified Teka service technician.
