How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the sump area.

  • Locate turbidity sensor: On many Teka models, the turbidity sensor is mounted on the side of the sump or in the side water chamber and has a small optical window.
  • Clean sensor: Remove the sensor and gently clean the optical surfaces with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Inspect connector: Check the wiring plug for moisture or corrosion. Clean and dry as needed.
  • Replace sensor: If E11 persists after cleaning and reseating, replace the turbidity sensor.
