Possible Causes

Leak from door seal or tub, Leaking circulation pump or heater, Loose hose or clamp inside base, Over-foaming from incorrect detergent

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap. Water may spill when tilting the appliance.

  • Drain base tray: Carefully tilt the dishwasher about 45° backwards to allow water in the base tray to run out onto towels. This may temporarily clear E15.
  • Remove bottom panel: Once drained, remove the base panel to access the anti-flood float switch. Ensure the float moves freely and is not stuck by debris.
  • Identify leak source: Run a short cycle while observing the base (use a torch). Look for drips from the circulation pump, heater, hoses, or door area.
  • Common fixes: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, and inspect the door gasket for damage or deformation. Replace any leaking component such as the circulation pump or heater assembly.
  • Detergent check: If excessive foam is present, ensure you are using dishwasher-specific detergent and correct dosage.
