Possible Causes
Kinked or crushed drain hose, Blocked connection at sink trap or garbage disposer, Food blockage in hose, Incorrect drain hose installation height
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before disconnecting hoses. Have towels ready for water spills.
- Check hose routing: Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or pinched behind the dishwasher or under the sink.
- Inspect sink connection: Remove the hose from the sink trap or disposer and check for blockages. Clean the trap inlet thoroughly.
- Flush hose: Take the hose to a sink or outside and flush it with hot water to clear any internal blockage.
- Verify installation height: Confirm that the drain hose loop is installed at the correct height (usually 40–100 cm above floor) to prevent backflow and siphoning.
- Re-test: Reconnect everything securely and run a drain or quick program to confirm that E24 is cleared.
