Possible Causes
Defective flow meter in inlet assembly, Blocked flow meter turbine due to debris, Loose wiring to flow meter, Faulty control board pulse counting circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing hoses.
- Locate flow meter: On many Teka models, the flow meter is integrated into the side water distribution chamber or the AquaStop inlet assembly.
- Check for debris: Remove the side panel and inspect the transparent water chamber. If you see scale or debris, remove the chamber and rinse thoroughly under hot water to free the turbine.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the small connector from the flow meter reed sensor to the harness is secure and not corroded.
- Functional test: With the machine partially reassembled, you can run a fill test while observing the chamber. The turbine should spin freely as water flows. If it does not move or E7 persists, replace the flow meter / water distribution chamber.
