Listen for pump: During a wash cycle, listen for the circulation pump. Silence or only a faint hum suggests pump failure.
Under-unit inspection: Access the circulation pump from below. Look for leaks, burn marks, or a seized impeller. Replace the pump if defective.

Warning: Running the dishwasher repeatedly without circulation can overheat components and damage the heater.
