Possible Causes
Clogged upper spray arm jets, Blocked feed tube to upper arm, Low water pressure from weak pump, Rack not seated properly in tracks
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power if removing spray arms with tools.
Step-by-step checks:
- Rack position: Ensure the upper rack is fully pushed in and properly engaged with the rear water feed.
- Clean upper spray arm: Remove the upper spray arm and flush it under hot water. Use a toothpick to clear blocked holes.
- Feed tube inspection: Check the vertical or rear feed tube for cracks, disconnections, or obstructions.
- Pump performance: If upper cleaning remains poor, the circulation pump may not be delivering enough pressure and may need replacement.
Warning: Do not drill out spray arm holes; this will alter spray patterns and reduce performance.
