Possible Causes

Water tap closed or partially closed, Inlet hose kinked or crushed, Inlet valve (aqua-stop) defective, Inlet water filter screens clogged

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off the dishwasher with the main power switch and unplug it or switch off the circuit breaker before working on hoses or internal parts. Turn off the water tap.

  • Check water tap: Ensure the kitchen water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open. If you have a separate under-sink valve, open it fully.
  • Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher out slightly and verify the V-ZUG aqua-stop inlet hose is not kinked, crushed, or pinched behind the machine or cabinet.
  • Clean inlet filters: Close the water tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the tap, and remove the small mesh filter in the hose end. Rinse under running water and reinstall. Some V-ZUG models also have a filter at the machine-side connection—clean this as well.
  • Restart test: Reconnect the hose, open the water tap fully, restore power, and run a short program to see if the error clears.
  • If still faulty: The aqua-stop inlet valve or internal water inlet valve may be defective. At this point, contact a qualified V-ZUG service technician for diagnosis and replacement.
