Possible Causes
Pressure hose blocked or kinked, Pressure switch defective, Air trap clogged with grease or limescale, Wiring to pressure switch damaged
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove and clean all filters and the sump area to ensure no debris is blocking the water path or air trap.
- Run a descaling cycle: Use a dishwasher descaler to help clear limescale from the air trap and pressure system.
- Visual inspection: If accessible, locate the pressure switch and its small hose. Check that the hose is not kinked or disconnected. Do not blow into the hose unless you are experienced, as this can damage the sensor.
- Reset and test: After cleaning, restore power and run a short program to see if E13 reoccurs.
- Professional repair: Replacement of the pressure switch or cleaning the air trap internally is best done by a technician.
