Possible Causes
Drain pump coil open or shorted, Wiring harness to pump damaged, Control board pump driver failure, Connector corroded
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before any inspection.
- Listen for pump: Start a drain or cancel program. If you hear no pump noise at all, the pump may not be receiving power or is electrically failed.
- Check for blockages first: As with E21, ensure the pump is not mechanically blocked by debris.
- Visual inspection: Access the pump from the base and inspect the connector and wiring for burn marks or loose connections.
- Professional testing: Electrical continuity tests on the pump and control board should be performed by a qualified technician. Do not attempt live testing yourself.
