Possible Causes
Leak from circulation pump seal, Leak from hoses or connections, Cracked sump or tub, Float switch in base tray activated by water
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately switch off power and close the water tap. Do not continue running the dishwasher until the leak is found.
- Inspect base tray: Remove the toe-kick panel and look into the base tray. If water is present, carefully soak it up with towels or a sponge until completely dry.
- Check visible hoses: With the base tray dry, restore power and run a short program while observing the underside (use a flashlight). Look for drips from the inlet hose, drain hose, circulation pump, or sump seals.
- Check door seal: Inspect the door gasket and bottom door seal for tears, deformation, or debris preventing a proper seal. Clean and reseat if necessary.
- Stop if leak persists: If you see ongoing leakage, stop the program, disconnect power, and do not use the appliance.
- Professional repair: Leaks from the pump, sump, or tub require parts replacement and proper sealing. Contact V-ZUG service.
