Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Blocked or misdirected spray arm jets, Overfilling due to pressure switch fault, Loose door hinges causing poor seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and turn off water. Mop up any spilled water to avoid slipping.
Step-by-step checks:
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening. Look for tears, flattening, or mold. Replace if damaged.
- Clean spray arms: Remove and clean spray arms. A blocked jet can cause a concentrated jet of water to hit the door seal and leak.
- Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes evenly on both sides. Adjust hinges or mounting if the gap is uneven.
- Water level: If water level is too high, inspect the pressure switch and inlet valve as in E4/E5.
After replacing the gasket or correcting spray issues, run a test cycle and observe the door area for leaks.
