Possible Causes

Empty salt reservoir, Incorrect water hardness setting, Low rinse aid, Overdosing or underdosing detergent

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal electrical work is required for this issue.

Step-by-step checks:

  • Check salt level: Open the salt compartment and refill with dishwasher salt if empty. Ensure the cap is tight.
  • Set water hardness: Adjust the water softener setting in the control menu according to your local water hardness (see Vestel manual).
  • Rinse aid: Fill the rinse aid dispenser and set the dosage to a medium level. Increase if spotting persists.
  • Detergent amount: Use the recommended amount of detergent for your water hardness and soil level. Avoid cheap or damp tablets.
  • Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty hot cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove internal limescale.

After adjustments, test with a normal load and inspect glassware for improvement.
