Possible Causes
Dirty turbidity sensor window, Faulty turbidity sensor, Loose sensor connector, Wiring harness damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the sump area.
Step-by-step checks:
- Locate turbidity sensor: On some Vestel models, an optical turbidity sensor is mounted on the side of the sump or in a side chamber.
- Clean sensor: Remove the sensor and clean the optical window with warm soapy water. Remove any film, grease, or scale that could block the light path.
- Inspect wiring: Check the connector and harness for moisture, corrosion, or broken wires. Dry and reseat the connector.
- Test sensor: If available, compare sensor readings with service mode diagnostics. If the sensor is out of range or not detected, replace it with a Vestel-compatible turbidity sensor.
Reassemble and run an auto or sensor-based program to verify that E11 does not reoccur.
