Check door closure: Ensure the door closes firmly and latches with a clear click. If you must push hard or lift the door, the latch or hinges may be misaligned.
Inspect latch and strike: Open the door and examine the plastic or metal strike on the cabinet and the latch mechanism in the door. Replace any cracked or worn parts.
Test door switch: Remove the inner door panel to access the door lock assembly. Use a multimeter to check continuity of the switch when the latch is engaged. No continuity indicates a faulty switch.
Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the door lock to the main PCB for broken conductors, especially where it passes through moving areas.

Replace the door lock assembly or strike as needed. After repair, confirm that the machine starts reliably without E13.
