Measure water pressure: If possible, measure household water pressure. If it is significantly above manufacturer recommendations, install a pressure reducer on the supply line.
Inspect inlet valve: Remove and check the inlet valve for debris or scale that could cause it to stick open. Replace if mechanically worn.
Check pressure switch and hose: Ensure the pressure hose is not blocked and that the switch operates correctly when pressure is applied.
Overflow path: Clean any side chambers or overflow channels that may be blocked with limescale or grease.

After adjustments, run a test cycle to confirm that filling stops at the correct level and E17 does not reappear.
