Possible Causes
Closed or faulty under-sink shutoff valve, Kinked or blocked inlet hose, Failed Viking water inlet valve, Faulty water level sensor preventing fill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water before disconnecting hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure the under-sink valve is fully open and that other fixtures have normal water pressure.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher out slightly and check for kinks or crushing. Straighten or replace as needed.
- Test inlet valve: With power off, measure coil resistance on the Viking inlet valve. Replace if open or shorted.
- Bypass level sensor (diagnostic only): In service mode (if available), some technicians temporarily bypass the level sensor to confirm valve operation. This should only be done by qualified personnel.
