Dishwasher fills and runs but does not drain; water remains at the bottom after cycle completes.

Safety first: Disconnect power before working under the sink or dishwasher.

• Check sink drain: Run water in the sink and ensure it drains freely. Clear any clogs in the sink plumbing.
• Inspect air gap and disposer: Remove the air gap cap and clean debris. If recently installed to a disposer, confirm the dishwasher knockout plug was removed.
• Clean filters and sump: Remove the Viking filters and clear debris from the sump and drain inlet.
• Access drain pump: Remove the pump, check for obstructions, and test motor continuity. Replace the pump if seized or open.
