Possible Causes
Faulty Viking analog pressure sensor, Blocked pressure hose, Sensor out of calibration, Control board misinterpretation of sensor signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing.
- Locate pressure sensor: Typically mounted on the side of the sump or tub base with a small rubber hose attached.
- Clean pressure hose: Remove the hose from both ends and flush with warm water. Blow through it to ensure it is clear. Reinstall securely.
- Inspect sensor body: Check for cracks, water intrusion, or corrosion at the connector. Replace if damaged.
- Test sensor output: Using a multimeter and Viking service data, measure sensor resistance or voltage at different water levels (this may require service mode). If readings are erratic or out of range, replace the sensor.
- Reset and test: After replacement, clear the error (if your model allows) and run a test cycle to confirm proper operation.
