Safety First: Disconnect power and water before working under the dishwasher.

• Clean filters: Remove lower rack and filters; rinse thoroughly and clear any debris from the sump.
• Check for obstructions: Look into the sump for foreign objects blocking the impeller.
• Listen to motor: Restore power briefly and start a cycle. If you hear only a hum or nothing at all, the motor may be seized or failed.
• Access and inspect pump: Pull the dishwasher out and inspect the circulation pump assembly. Replace the pump/motor if it is not running or is noisy despite clear impeller.
