Dishwasher will not power on at all; no lights or display; appears completely dead.

Safety First: Before opening any electrical boxes, turn off the circuit breaker supplying the dishwasher.

• Check household power: Verify the breaker is not tripped and that other outlets on the same circuit have power.
• Inspect junction box: Remove the toe-kick and open the dishwasher's junction box (usually on the right underside). Confirm wire nuts are tight and no wires are burnt.
• Test door switch: If you have a multimeter, test the door switch for continuity when the door is closed. Replace if open.
• Control board: If power is present at the junction box and door switch is good but the unit is still dead, the main control board or UI may be failed and require replacement.
