Possible Causes
Leaking pump seal, Split hose or loose hose clamp, Door gasket leak, Cracked tank or boiler connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Inspect base tray: Remove the front kick panel and check for water in the base tray. Mop up all water and dry the area thoroughly.
- Check visible hoses and clamps: Look for drips around the drain pump, wash pump, inlet valve, and hoses while briefly turning the water back on.
- Examine door seal: Inspect the door gasket for tears, deformation, or heavy soil. Clean or replace if damaged.
- Monitor for recurrence: After drying and reassembling, run a short cycle while observing the underside for leaks. If the leak source is not obvious, a technician should perform a pressure test.
