Possible Causes
Empty detergent or rinse aid container, Blocked chemical suction hose or filter, Faulty peristaltic dosing pump, Air in chemical lines
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Wear gloves and eye protection when handling detergents and rinse aids.
- Check chemical levels: Verify that the external detergent and rinse aid canisters are not empty. Refill with Winterhalter-approved products.
- Inspect suction hoses: Ensure the suction hoses are fully submerged and not kinked. Clean or replace the small suction filters at the end of the hoses.
- Prime the pumps: Use the machine's dosing test/prime function (if available) to draw chemicals through the lines until no air bubbles are visible.
- Check for leaks: Inspect around the peristaltic pumps for leaks or cracked tubing. Replace worn pump tubes or the complete pump if it does not run during dosing tests.
