Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap. Mop up any spilled water to avoid slipping.

• Pull out appliance: Carefully slide the dishwasher out of the cabinet.
• Inspect base: Remove side and base panels to locate the source of the leak while running a short cycle (only if you can do this safely and avoid contact with live parts).
• Tighten clamps: Tighten any loose hose clamps and replace any hoses showing cracks or bulges.
• Replace leaking components: If the sump or pump seal is leaking, replace the sump and seal kit or pump assembly as appropriate.
