Possible Causes
Closed or kinked water inlet hose, Blocked inlet hose filter at AquaStop or tap end, Defective water inlet valve, Low or no water supply pressure to dishwasher
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off the dishwasher and unplug it or switch off the circuit breaker. Turn off the water supply tap before disconnecting any hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen tap feeding the Zanussi dishwasher is fully open and that there is normal water pressure at the tap.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher out slightly and check the Zanussi AquaStop or standard inlet hose for kinks, crushing, or sharp bends. Straighten the hose and ensure it is not trapped under the cabinet.
- Clean inlet filter: Turn off the water tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the tap and from the dishwasher inlet valve. At both ends you will find small mesh filters. Rinse these under running water and remove any limescale or debris with a soft brush.
- Re‑fit and test: Reconnect the hose firmly, open the tap, check for leaks, then restore power and run a short cycle to see if the error clears.
- If still no fill: The internal water inlet valve (solenoid) or AquaStop assembly may be faulty and should be tested with a multimeter and replaced if open‑circuit or not actuating. This is usually a job for a qualified technician.
