Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, Blocked pressure sensor hose, Faulty pressure sensor, Control board not stopping fill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the water supply tap and disconnect power immediately to prevent flooding.
- Drain excess water: If safe, open the door and remove water from the tub with a container and sponge.
- Check inlet valve: With power off and water tap closed, disconnect the inlet hose and inspect the valve for debris. If water continues to flow into the machine when the tap is open and power is off, the valve is mechanically stuck and must be replaced.
- Inspect pressure system: Clean filters and sump, then check the pressure hose and chamber for blockages as described for i40 faults.
- Test run: After clearing blockages and replacing any faulty valve, reconnect water and power and run a short cycle while monitoring the fill level.
