Possible Causes
Clogged drain filter, Blocked drain hose, Obstructed air gap or garbage disposal inlet, Failed drain pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power. Use towels to manage any spills.
- Clean filters: Remove the bottom rack and filters. Scoop out standing water with a cup, then clean all filter screens thoroughly.
- Check sink/disposal: If recently installed to a garbage disposal, ensure the knockout plug was removed. Clear any clogs in the sink drain.
- Inspect drain hose: Detach the hose from the sink/disposal and flush it with water. Straighten any kinks.
- Test drain pump: Listen for the pump during drain. If silent or just humming, access the pump from below, check for debris, and replace the pump if defective.
